Ultrasonic TEM disc cutter Fischione 170 (US-CUTTER)

Instrument for cutting samples from hard and brittle materials (ceramics, semiconductors, geological samples) using ultrasound. The device is equipped with a cutting tool of 3 mm in diameter which, in combination with abrasive slurry, allows to cut standard samples for TEM observation. There is also the possibility of cutting 2,3mm in diameter samples, or rectangular samples with dimensions of 2x3mm and 4x5 mm. The machine also provides the possibility of automatic termination of the process. There is a microscope included which helps to set the accurate place of cut.
