Lab news - October 2022

Dear users,

we would like to inform you, that there is a new system for the thermal evaporation of metals and other inorganic materials. The equipment called MINEVAP placed in the PVD laboratory C1.36 is under the supervision of Jan Prasek and at this moment is under testing before it's fully available to all users.

It is good to know, that there is also available the L96 Evo system designed for high-temperature thermogravimetric analyses in the simultaneous TG-DTA(DSC) mode. The equipment called TGA96 placed in CeramLab A1.24 is currently under the supervision of Premysl Stastny, and the analysis can be done upon request in full-service mode only.
