Image Snapper and Sample Observer software modules are now available on TESCAN LYRA3 FIB-SEM
We are happy to announce that Image Snapper and Sample Observer software modules are now available on TESCAN LYRA3 FIB-SEM.
Image Snapper module is intended for an automatic large sample image acquisition and panorama stitching. User-defined area of interest is split into the required number of fields. Whole area image is acquired field-by-field by XY motorized stage movement. Image from each field is stored to computer and can be stitched into a panoramic view. There are two possible stitching procedures: First by simple stitching of scanned images and second by correlation of position of scanned images. Off-line stitching is also available. Not only continuous area can be imaged, Image Snapper can work along a line or using list of sample coordinates. Various magnifications can be specified. Look to the LyraTC help file for detailed information.
The Sample Observer module extends the software functionality as a time-sequential camera. It can be used for long lasting processes recording. The module saves images in pre-selected time intervals as individual images and as a video sequence (AVI format) on the hard drive.
